The life of a driver is not for everybody. Besides the traveling seeing
different places there is allot that goes with it. You must consider the fact that you will most likely be on the road for about 30 days at a time one week off. You will see a large amount of truck stops where you will do all your personal things such as taking showers your
laundry eating sleeping using bathroom. Most of these places are not the cleanest and you will want to invest in shower shoes. There is money in the miles you do but you are limited to 14 hours on the road and 10 hours off. You will drive in all climate conditions including
mountain driving. If you ask most truck drivers they will tell you
New york city is the worst i did not mind it. In order to become a well
experienced driver you should go over the road
at least once in your career. I would not recommend truck driving to anyone who needs home time there is local
company's that will hire you most want over the road (OTR)
experience. This is some of the things i have
experienced as a driver and i will be glad to
answer any
questions.
